Veganuary 2018
Are you thinking about doing #veganuary this month? But you are not sure where to start or how to get going? It is a lot simpler than you think! It does involve a lot of label checking when you are buying food to suit the lifestyle, but once you get into the swing of it, it comes naturally to you and you will be grabbing at those vegan goodies without even thinking. There are many reasons why you may want to try Veganuary, such as health, nutrition, the environment or even for the animals!

When I started out my transition into becoming vegan, I went completely cold turkey and cut out all animal products from my diet. Already being vegetarian at this point, I found it quite easy as there is always an alternative product to swap from what you would normally have. I have been living the Vegan Lifestyle for as long as I can remember, I think it's nearly 3 years now at least, but I could be wrong. To be honest, I have not really been keeping count - I was 'pescatarian' before this and I then went vegetarian, before then becoming vegan which has been quite the journey, one that I have thoroughly enjoyed. I have felt better in myself and I have found more creative ways in how to cook delicious homemade cooked meals.

So what is Veganuary?

Veganuary is a month where everyone can have the chance to try and cut out all animal byproducts and meat from their diets. People choose to go vegan for various reasons and each persons reason may be different from yours. So always remember, there is not always a right or wrong answer in the way you want to do things. You may choose to go vegan for health or for the animals, but any reason to go vegan is a good one. Every journey will be unique, so remember that before you judge someones choice to do so.
